Youth Week is an annual celebration of youth aged 12-25 and provides opportunity for young people to:

• celebrate youth culture;
• highlight the positive contribution young people make in the community;
• discuss ideas, raise issues and develop strategies; and
• work with their community to address these issues.

Shorefest 2012

Shorefest is an all ages drug and alcohol free event held annually by Mosman, North Sydney, Lane Cove, Willoughby, Ryde, and Kuringai Councils on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. On the back of the event’s success in 2011 and strong attendance of the event in both 2010 and 2011, Shorefest 2012 is shaping up to be the must attend Youth Week event in Northern Sydney.

This year’s line-up includes: Veil of Maya (USA), Heroes for Hire, Resist the Thought, The Bride, Feed Her to the Sharks, Endless Heights, Stories, Highways, Escapist, and Divide and Conquer.
