Section 449 of the Local Government Act 1993 requires a Councillor or a designated person to complete and lodge with the General Manager, a return disclosing his or her pecuniary interests. That return contains personal information about each Councillor and designated person, including his or her name, address and signature, as well as information about property and share holdings, gifts received, debts owed, other sources of income, and positions held in a trade union or business or professional organisation.
In compliance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act, a list of Councillors and the titles of designated persons who have lodged an annual return is provided here. Returns are publicly available for inspection free of charge at the Civic Centre during normal business hours to facilitate the legitimate public interest in having access to the information, while protecting the individual’s right to privacy and safety. - Register of current Declarations of Disclosures of Political donations

Register of Government Contracts

Disclosure Log
Mosman Council has received and determined the following access applications under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act). As the information released under these formal access applications may be of interest to other members of the public, the GIPA Act requires Council to publish this Disclosure Log. The Disclosure Log records details about the access applications in a Disclosure Log (ss. 25 and 26 of the GIPA Act).
Open Access Information Not Released
Open access information not released by Mosman Council due to an overriding public interest against disclosure. As Mosman Council makes decisions about open access information that may not be disclosed due to an overriding public interest, it will publish this information on its website.
Log of Information not released
Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act), when deciding whether or not to release information, government agencies must consider whether there is an overriding public interest against releasing the information.
