Future Mosman

Future Mosman – 2088 in 2020 is Council’s long-term vision for Mosman.

The practical purpose of this vision is to guide current strategies, as embodied in MOSPLAN, the Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and Development Control Plans (DCPs), and to guide ongoing strategic decisions.

Community Survey 2006

Council has released its community survey undertaken by IRIS Research in late 2006 and a copy of the presentation given to a Future Mosman workshop on 24 February 2007 can be accessed here. Similar surveys were undertaken in 1995, 2000 and 2003 and are used by Council to inform both the Future Mosman and MOSPLAN Review processes. A complete hard copy of the survey results is available for viewing at the Council Chambers and Library.

Future Mosman – Mid-Term Review, February 2007

Councillors and staff conducted a mid term review of Future Mosman on 24 February facilitated by Professor Peter Abelson. Copies of Staff Reports and Professor Abelson’s overview can be accessed here. Professor Abelson is to complete an overview summary of the days’ proceedings which will be listed for consideration at the meeting of Council to be held on 3 April 2007.
