The impacts of traffic as a result of a new development are often assessed by Council’s Traffic team to ensure that the impacts of traffic are minimised or measures are introduced to mitigate the effects of traffic on residential amenity.
Construction Traffic Management Plans
The preparation of Construction Traffic Management Plans by applicants is a recent requirement of Council following issues resulting from construction traffic.
Compliance with Construction Traffic Management Plans has proven to be relatively successful and the processes and procedures will continue to be improved. Further detail regarding the preparation of CTMPs can be accessed below:

Section 94 Contributions Plan
The aim of the Contributions Plan is to enable Council to accept contributions from developers towards providing public car parking in the Spit Junction Town Centre under the provisions of Section 94 (S.94) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
