The impacts of traffic as a result of a new development are often assessed by Council’s Traffic team to ensure that the impacts of traffic are minimised or measures are introduced to mitigate the effects of traffic on residential amenity.

Construction Traffic Management Plans

The purpose of a Construction Traffic Management Plan is to ensure that the impacts of construction works on the public domain, in particular with respect to temporary interruptions to vehicular and pedestrian traffic, are considered by the proponent and reviewed by Council. The Construction Traffic Management Plan must ensure that public safety is maintained at all times and that wherever possible interruption to the use of public space is minimised.
