Mosman Home Gardeners' Society
You don’t have to have a garden to belong!
The club, which was established more than sixty years ago, meets on the second Tuesday of the month (except January and July) in the hall of the Mosman Seniors’ Centre, Mosman Square, Spit Junction.
The meetings commence at 7.00pm and include a guest speaker and club competition.
The club competition enables members to display cut flowers, plants in containers and enter the floral art section. This part of the meeting enables others to enjoy the display and learn about the plants and their care.
We encourage the growing of Australian natives.
Our guest speakers are drawn from many areas of horticulture. They are leaders in their field and the meetings are structured so there is time for questions.
Several visits to special gardens or events are planned throughout the year.
A light supper of tea/coffee and sandwiches is served during the evening.
