Starry Starry Night – Looking up from Down Under

The National Parks and Wildlife Service invites you to celebrate The Year of Astronomy during 2009 by ‘Looking up from Down Under’. National parks are in dark places where the subtle but splendid sight of the dark night sky and the sense of wonder can be discovered.
Begin the night with a twilight tour of Middle Head. Listen to stories from the Aboriginal community, then join us by viewing the night sky through a telescope (or bring your own!) you will be led by astronomer, Greg Madsen from the University of Sydney. Explore the night sky like you’ve never seen it before.
A sausage sizzle, tea, and hot chocolate will be provided. Barista coffee will be available for purchase for $2.
Cost: $15.00 Adults, $5 Children, $35.00 Family (2A & 2C)
Bookings are essential. Please call as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Call Cadmans Cottage on 02 9247 5033 to book your places. Vacation Care Groups welcome but numbers are limited. Meeting place given upon booking.
