What happens once you have written your story?
The answer may be to self-publish, a popular option for both personal and business uses and a wonderful way to interpret community and family history.
Geoff will compare self-publishing and commercial publishing. He will discuss the process of book editing and layout, obtaining quotes for printing, marketing and distribution. The aim is to providing enough information to help you decide whether self-publishing is for you.
Geoff Bartlett, an author, travel writer and journalist, has filed articles for a number of publications including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Courier Mail and Australian Style. He has written for Good News Week, Backberner and The Comedy Channel and still found time to write three books. Since 2006 he has been a presenter at the Sydney Writers’ Centre.
