Mosman Pet's Day Out 2010

• Update Sunday 24 October, 8:30am — due to rain, Pet’s Day Out has had to be cancelled.

Come and be part of the fun at the annual Mosman Pet’s Day Out!

This popular event attracts all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, mice, ferrets and budgies and is open to all animal owners and lovers. There will be obedience and agility demonstrations, trick training, competitions, Australian Wildlife Display and a great array of pet stalls.

Don’t own a pet? Don’t worry come along anyway and enjoy the spectacle as our wonderful furry and maybe scaly friends make an appearance, and compete in fun activities like the ‘Egg and Spoon Race’, or challenge each other for ‘Most Unusual Pet’.

10:30am - 12:30pm	Register for Show & Competition
11:00am – 11:20am	Agility Display by Manly & District Kennel & Dog Training Club
11:00am – 1:00pm	Australian Wildlife Display
11:20am – 11:40am	Have a go on the agility equipment
12:00pm – 12:20pm	Obedience Display by Manly & District Kennel & Dog Training Club
12:30pm – 1:00pm	Trick Training by Goodog
1:15pm	Show and Competition – prizes to be won Fancy Dressed Pet, Egg & Spoon Race, Waggiest Tail, Unusual Pet, Best Trick

Also on today from 12 – 4pm is the Environmental Fair & Blessing of the Animals at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cardinal Street. And from 1:30pm – 5pm join us for Beat The Blues, a free concert at Allan Border Oval, headlined by Australian Idol finalist, Hayley Warner.

Temporary parking arrangements at Allan Border Oval

As part of the special events to be held on Allan Border Oval today, temporary parking arrangements will be in effect on Gouldsbury Street and Myahgah Road.

Temporary Parking Restrictions

• Gouldsbury Street (north side): Authorised Vehicle Parking Only from 6am to 6pm
• Myahgah Road (east side, between The Crescent and Mosman Occasional Child Care Centre): Authorised Vehicle Parking Only from 6am to 6pm

Residents are advised not to park within the areas above.
