8:00AM - 4:00PM
Place
Bradfield Plaza, Kirribilli to Clifton Gardens Reserve, Chowder Bay

Join the Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS) as they host the second Harbour Hike, an 11km easy to moderate walk from under the Harbour Bridge at Kirribilli, around the breathtaking foreshore paths on the lower north shore to Clifton Gardens Reserve, Chowder Bay, Mosman.

At ten checkpoints along the course teams will answer trivia questions about Sydney Harbour to be in to win great prizes.

The fun will continue at the finish line at Clifton Gardens Reserve with a marine-themed festival featuring sustainable seafood and organic fresh food stalls and live entertainment as well as marine displays hosted by SIMS Scientists. Children’s activities include face painting, sea kayaking by Land’s Edge and indigenous tours hosted by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.

The event is open to the first 4,000 people to register – each participant receives an event passport and a free ferry ticket to take you from the finish line at Clifton Gardens Reserve, back to the start line at Kirribilli.

For more information, to register as a participant, or to volunteer for the event visit www.harbourhike.com or join the Facebook page.
