Free Household Chemical CleanOut

Some common household chemicals are toxic to your family and the environment. Dispose of chemicals safely and clean out your household chemical clutter.

Florescent light globes and tubes, car batteries and motor oils, paint, pesticides, pool chemicals and poisons are all accepted.

These events operate as a drive through service, so you don’t even need to get out of your car. And if you don’t live on the north side, these collections are all over Sydney, view www.cleanout.com.au for all locations.

This service is the only safe and free way of disposing of household chemicals. Such hazardous materials are not accepted in council clean ups no matter where you live, and are not accepted in general household waste bins. The main reason for this is to prevent toxic waste from going to landfill where it can cause environmental pollution which in turn causes health problems for humans!

Only household quantities accepted 20kg or 20L max container size. Please transport your household chemicals carefully and remain in your vehicle at the drop off site.
