Thank you to all residents who voted in the recent Partners in Preservation campaign run by American Express and the National Trust.
Your efforts helped Council secure a grant of $40,000 which will be put towards much needed works at the pool.
This grant, together with a State Government grant already awarded and funds from Council’s budget, will ensure that works can be scheduled with certainty.
Your enthusiasm for voting and promoting the campaign contributed to Council’s success.
The site that won the popular vote was Waverley Cemetery Gates which was granted $86,000. The other runner up was Wireless House in Glebe which will receive $30,000.
