Notice of weed control at Mosman ovals in October
As part of its annual weed control program Council will be undertaking broad scale spraying of selective herbicides on its Sporting Ovals from 15-17 October to control broad leaf weeds in turf areas.
Council’s Pesticide Use Notification Plan (PDF 1MB) requires Council advertise broad scale spraying of herbicide to allow members of the public the opportunity to avoid contact with herbicide application.
Council will ensure the herbicides are applied to public places in a safe, responsible manner, minimising harm to the community and the environment. Council will also ensure that all legislative requirements are met and followed. Council will have relevant material safety data sheets on hand to respond to enquiries.
