Development Control Plans

Development Control Plans (DCPs) are plans adopted by Council to support the Mosman Local Environmental Plan 2012 and provide more detailed planning and design guidelines. The relevant DCP should be referred to when considering development.

The current versions of the DCPs are provided below:

Changes to the Residential Development Control Plan, Business Centres Development Control Plan and Open Space and Infrastructure Development Control Plan

At the Council Meeting on 5 December 2023, Council endorsed a number of changes to the Residential Development Control Plan, Business Centres Development Control Plan and Open Space and Infrastructure Development Control Plan. The changes include a series of housekeeping amendments that primarily update the development control plans to ensure their alignment with recent changes to NSW planning legislation and policy and to facilitate the implementation of the actions of Council’s endorsed Local Housing Strategy relating to adaptable housing and universal design. The changes came into effect on 14 December 2023.

Changes to Residential DCP in effect from 27 May 2022

At the Council Meeting on 1 March 2022, Council endorsed a number of changes to Mosman Residential DCP 2012.
