Council’s Heritage Advisor – Robert Staas

Council runs a Heritage Advisory Service where free advice from a qualified Heritage Architect can be obtained for heritage listed properties.

Heritage-related Development Applications (DAs) are referred to Council’s Advisor for comment. Owners are encouraged to meet with Council’s Advisor for pre-lodgment advice in respect of development proposals affecting heritage listed properties.

Note that detailed design is not part of this service, and owners should consult appropriate professionals if this is required.

Contact Council to make an appointment.

Council’s Heritage Advisor visits Council every 3 weeks (generally on a Friday).
