Rugby Union

Thomas Perrin was a 6ft 3in second-rower with surprising pace, who toured New Zealand in 1931.

Although the Australians won only 3 of its 10 matches on this tour, the side played the running game developed by the Waratahs in 1927-28 and was considered a most attractive outfit.

Perrin grew up in Mosman and played with Mosman Juniors 1922-23.

He joined Northern Suburbs Rugby Union Football Club after he left school and was a member of their 1933 Sydney premiership-winning team.
