MOCC Child Care

Are you looking for flexible, quality childcare to attend appointments, work from home or develop your child’s socialisation skills? MOCC Children’s Early Education and Care Centre offers flexible childcare for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

MOCC is staffed by qualified and experienced educators who provide a program based on the National Early Years Learning Framework with a focus on children’s interests, strengths and individual needs.

Bookings at the MOCC for 2019

The MOCC will close on 19 December 2019 and will not reopen. If you would like to register to use the service up until this date please contact the centre on 9978 4197.

Limited “Regular Care” (8am-4pm) places for 2-5 year olds are currently available on Fridays with a waitlist operating on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Occasional care bookings are available Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and can be made from one hour up to eight hours per day.

SDN Mosman, Mosman ELC, OAC Mosman, Shadforth Cottage and Jack & Jill will all be offering an occasional care service in 2020, and it is already up and running at SDN Mosman and Mosman ELC, with OACMosman available from 1 November, Shadforth Cottage from 19 December and Jack & Jill from 6 January. Fees

Occasional care 2-5 years old$16.50 per hour
Occasional care under 2 years$18.00 per hour
Permanent day rate 2-5 years old$107.00 (8:00am – 4:00pm)
Permanent day rate under 2 years$117.50 (8:00am – 4:00pm)
Annual registration fee$55.00

Childcare Package Government Fee Assistance

As an Approved Provider families may receive fee assistance from the Government. To find out more, visit education.gov.au/childcare.

Important Information regarding the Child Care Subsidy

MOCC families need to confirm Mosman Council Occasional Care as your provider when enrolling for care. If you do not attend MOCC within eight weeks, the Government stops the Child Care Subsidy. If you are returning to care after more than eight weeks without care, check your MyGov account to check the enrolment status. If ceased please contact our office to refresh the Enrolment and then please complete the actions as per the instructions. Check your enrolment status here
