The Mosman Art Gallery & Community Centre offers a wide range of function rooms over 3 levels for community and corporate use.
Located under Mosman Library and across from Allan Border Oval, the Mosman Youth Development Centre is available for hire by community groups to hold meetings and gatherings of a civic or educational nature.
Mosman’s fabulous community facility located at Cross Street can be hired for private functions and other community activities.
The Marie Bashir Mosman Sports Centre provides one multi-function playing court with provision for indoor sports such as netball, basketball, indoor hockey and futsal. The Centre provides full disability access and includes amenities, seating and a mezzanine viewing area.
Mosman’s beautiful reserves, beaches and parks can be used on a casual basis at any time. Bookings are essential for organised events of more than 50 people, and all corporate functions and legal ceremonies (such as weddings or christenings).

Popular Council-managed locations for weddings in Mosman include the Rotunda at Balmoral Beach, Rocky Point Island, Edwards Beach, Rosherville Reserve, Pearl Beach, Clifton Gardens and Reservoir Park (behind Boronia House).
In order to manage significant outdoor public events in a way in which the benefits to the people of Mosman are maximised whilst potential negative impacts are minimised, Mosman Council has developed a special events policy and operations manual.
Mosman Council permits use of Council controlled land for the purpose of commercial filming or photography under certain conditions.
