2016 Out & About Concerts and Outdoor Cinema
Mosman Council’s Out & About concert series returns to Balmoral with the addition of an outdoor cinema screening on the Mosman Village Green.
The series of free community events will have something for everyone with both concerts appealing to all age groups while Disney’s animated action comedy Zootopia set to be popular among families with young children.
“Rug up and enjoy the stunning environment of Balmoral while relaxing on the grass, listening to some fantastic music or wind down under the stars on the Village Green while watching Zootopia,” Mosman Council Manager Communications Liz Bennett said.
The first Out & About concert, “Mosman Melodies”, will be held on Friday 7 October from 6pm – 8pm at Balmoral Beach. Enjoy musical melodies with performances by Mosman Symphony Orchestra, Mosman Musical Society and Mosman Music Club presenting Felix Bornholdt Trio.
The second Out & About event is the addition of an outdoor cinema, “Zootopia Under the Stars”, to be held on Friday 14 October from 7pm – 9.30pm on Mosman Village Green, which will also feature a special movie menu by Fourth Village. Come dressed for the occasion in your favourite animal onesie or PJs to go in the draw for some fantastic prizes.
Concluding the Out & About events is an evening concert of jazz at Balmoral Beach featuring exceptional bands from local high schools, Queenwood School for Girls and Mosman High School.
