New Residents Guide to Mosman

Mosman Council has launched a comprehensive guide to all things Mosman to ensure new residents to the area can quickly find at their fingertips a wide range of information and services.

Mosman Council General Manager Dominic Johnson said the 78-page guide would be a useful tool for any new resident.

“The New Residents Guide will ensure moving into Mosman is an even smoother experience for newcomers to our great community,” he said. “Combined with our popular MyMosman app and Council’s other websites and apps, our residents now have a wealth of information at their disposal and can easily connect with us to find out more about our services and events.

“The guide is packed full of information about some of the most popular local topics, including recreation options such as our beaches, sporting fields and playgrounds, our cultural and community events, a handy Moving In checklist and waste information, including household collections, calendar, clean-ups and recycling information.”

The guide also includes information about:

• Local facilities
• Mosman apps
• Responsible pet ownership
• Transport and parking
• Rates and property
• Families, youth, seniors and disability services and activities
• Business information and
• Mayor and Councillors and Council information.

The guide will be promoted through Council’s communications channels and promotional material will be available at key council buildings and provided to real estate agents.
