Mosman Council operates a range of services for children aged 0-12 years including occasional care, preschool, playgroup, family day care, before and after school care, vacation care, immunisation and active after school care programs.
Mosman Council also facilitates ten affordable long day care places at two child care centres in the Mosman area. Contact Council’s Children’s Services office on 9978 4161 for further information.
Mosman Occasional Child Care Centre (MOCC) offers flexible care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years on an hourly or permanent-day basis. It operates on Wednesday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.
Mosman Occasional Child Care Centre (MOCC) Preschool offers children aged 3-5 years with a program designed to prepare your child for school. It operates on Monday and Tuesday from 8am to 4pm.
Mosman Council’s Connections Playgroup encourages social connections amongst parents and carers of children aged 0-5 years in the community. We particularly encourage new residents and parents to attend.
MOOSH is a Before and After School program for primary school children attending Mosman Public School. Staffed by qualified and experienced educators, it offers a program based on the national My Time, Our Place Framework for School Age Care.
Mosman Vacation Care is a fun, safe, recreational holiday program for primary school aged children (Kindergarten to Year 5). It operates during public school holidays and offers a wide range of entertaining in-house activities and excursions.
Mosman Council Immunisation Clinic provides free monthly vaccines for children 6 weeks to 4 years of age. Professional medical staff administer vaccinations in accordance with the NSW Immunisation Schedule, NSW Government Health.
The active after school activity currently available is Tae Kwon Do – a Korean martial art that combines combat and self-defence techniques with sport and exercise. This after school activity is for children aged 5 to 12 years
A safe and registered form of child care where educators provide the service in their own home. Educators can provide care for up to four children aged 6 weeks until they start school and an additional three school aged children up to 12 years.
Fees can be paid online using the Commonwealth Bank’s secure BPOINT facility or BPAY, by mail or in person at Mosman Civic Centre.
