Community Transport

Individual and Group Transport is provided to the frail older people and younger people with disabilities who are unable to use public transport.

Individual Transport uses paid and volunteer drivers to assist with transport to medical or hospital appointments, and visiting a relative in hospital.

Group Transport is used for a variety of activities such as ‘assisted’ shopping trips, community lunches, library visits, and day outings for the housebound and active aged.

Thursday Shuttle Bus Service

A ‘door to door’ bus service, with an assistant, operating 3 trips every Thursday between Balmoral Beach and Royal North Shore Hospital, St. Leonards with stops along the way.

The service is for the frail aged, people with a disability and carers living at home and with proximity to Military Road, Falcon Street and the Pacific Highway.

Suitable for medical appointments, shopping, hospital visiting, therapy sessions and hairdressing appointments.

Friday Bus Service

Door to door wheelchair accessible bus service to take frail, aged people, younger people with a disability and their carers to local medical and other appointments.
